Ratio: A notice to increase rent could properly be served on a tenant even though he lacked mental capacity. Service of a notice must retain its natural meaning. A notice could properly be given where the landlord was named, and his address given ‘c/o the agent’ provided that address gave sufficient opportunity to contact the landlord.
